Hydra Holiday Units are 2 bedroom 2 storey units fully self-contained with lounge kitchen and dining downstairs and 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Each unit has a wonderful view to ocean and lake. Some units have a balcony off the main bedroom whilst others have a patio off the down stairs lounge area. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, and 2 single beds in second room. There is one unit which has a set of bunks plus a single in second room. This unit also has an in-house chairlift to assist semi-disabled persons moving from lunge to bedroom area. A solar heated pool plus BBQ facilities are available for your enjoyment A 3-4 minute stroll down the hill has you at the end of the main street close to restaurants and shops, or turn right to go along the boardwalk or main beach. Enjoy a drink on the balcony on a balmy summer evening whilst seeing the lights of Merimbula and Pambula.

Hydra is situated at the end of Short Street which runs up from the end of the main street near the Lakeview Hotel. which is across from the main jetty where the charter boats leave to go out on the dolphin and whalewatching tours. As we are at the end of the street there is very little traffic making for a peaceful stay.

Local Attractions:
Close to charter and site-seeing boats for dolphin and whale watching tours. Boardwalk,which runs along the edge of the Merimbula Lake makes for a lovely stroll or a brisk walk out to the airport coffe shop as well as all the other Merimbula attractions.
Getting There:
When coming from south(beach or Victorian side) as there is NO Turn into Short Street, must proceed to Monaro St lights, turn left, up the hill turn left into Ocean View Ave, and then right into Short Street. We do pick up guests from the buses, also plane if required.
